The Driver Improvement Program (DIP) is a 4-8 hour instructional program that is intended to provide driver rehabilitation.

If you received a letter from the MVA requiring you to take the DIP, then this is where you take it. With our online training program, you can take the training from the convenience of your home and at any time of the day you want. This training is available 24/7 and all you need to do is sign up and take the training at your own pace on your schedule. It consists of 7 modules and has some quizzes. Only quizzes at the end of each module is graded. You need to pass all 7 modules with over 80% in order to be eligible to take your final test onsite in our office.

Once you complete the training, you will be required to come to our office to take the test. Testing onsite (in our office) is a requirement of the MVA. Please, bring your ID and Certificate of online program completion. The cost of this course is $70 (payable by cash or credit card at the time of testing on site in our Lutherville office) and includes one scheduled exam.

Driver Improvement Program approved by the Maryland MVA

You will need to schedule an appointment with us to take the test. You must take and pass the test. Maryland MVA requires all testing be completed in person. Additional charges may apply for testing.
